Black Thought II

So I would like to formally remove my name from the "2006 Get Yo Ass A Job" draft.

I have decided to return to school for my senior year.

Since the first of the year, I wasn't sure what my school situation would be after this recent spring semester. In the back of my mind, I knew I really couldn't afford school on my own so I started coming up with a back up plan just in case.

And while I am glad that I am returning to school in the fall, this past summer was a good test to see what kind of response I would get for a resume filled with internships but lacking the most important thing - a degree.

Shockingly, it went better than expected. If I wasn't able to return to school, I had a job offer lined up which I ended up turning down weeks ago. And by job, I don't mean secretary or anything like that, a serious j-o-b.

But alas, instead of getting paid to watch sports for a living, it's back to Hofstra USA parties and Dutch Treats - for at least one more year.

The real world will always be there - it's time to enjoy my time as a student while I can.
